These terms

These terms cover use of this website. Engineering work is governed by a separate written agreement or statement of work for each engagement; where that agreement and these terms conflict, that agreement wins.

Using this site

The content here is provided for information. We try to keep it accurate and current, but we make no warranty that it is complete or error-free, and nothing on this site is an offer or a binding quote.

Intellectual property

The design, text and code of this site are ours. Client names, marks and product names shown in case studies remain the property of their owners and are used with permission.

Work we do for you is yours. On a client engagement, you own the source code and the intellectual property in the deliverables from the first commit, held in your own repository and your own cloud accounts. We keep the right to reuse general knowledge, techniques and non-client-specific components.

Confidentiality

We will sign your NDA before discovery starts, or use ours if you prefer. Either way we treat what you share as confidential and will not name you publicly without your written agreement.

Engagements, estimates and payment

Estimates given before a scoping phase are indicative. After a paid architecture or discovery phase we quote a fixed price for the agreed scope. Payment terms, milestones and cancellation are set out in the engagement agreement.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our liability arising from this website is excluded, and our liability on an engagement is as set out in that engagement's agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, unless an engagement agreement specifies otherwise for that engagement.
